The idea of MOSS & SPY began when Lia Tsimos, as a young Australian designer, studied fashion design in Paris and was guided by the unmistakeable style and elegance of leading European designers.  She went on to design for several Australia’s contemporary womenswear brands in Melbourne and Sydney before taking a position in London designing premium, ready-to-wear leather collections for international markets.

MOSS & SPY has boutiques in Sydney and Melbourne, a global online following, and is available in selected David Jones locations. 

The brand has become the preferred choice of women in the professions, media, business, and the arts who want to look and feel beautiful in statement pieces that stand out at any event, as well as in stunning daywear.  We are also proud to be a brand worn by Queen Mary of Denmark at international events after her husband Frederick’s first purchase of MOSS & SPY at our Sydney boutique.
